It's been quite a long time since we have written anything about what we are doing!!! We have had lots of things going on and I thought, maybe we should be doing our blog again.
So... an update!
Austin is still working for Up and Running. He's not totally loving it... but still enjoys the work he does with servers and such. He is still currently Elder's Quorum president and had an activity last month that had all of the male members of the branch out ICEFISHING!!! I know. Amazing. He's doing a wonderful job!! Austin has had to snowblow a lot this winter. Being on a corner of a busy street, we have learned that busy + corner = LOTS OF SNOW!! He dreams of Florida and the warm air. Austin also got to go and have his allergies tested and boy, was that informative. He is proud to say that he is not allergic to hamsters. lol But, he IS allergic to almost every tree, grass and outside thing known to man. Poor guy!! No wonder he is sniffling up a storm whenever we go out in the summer!
Tevin is in first grade and loves it. We actually just had parent teacher conferences and he is doing fabulously. He is normal in math and absolutely loves science. His reading is off the charts and is currently reading at a second grade level. We are working on his comprehension skills too so that he will be able to understand more of what he reads. Tevin has been in love with Yu-Gi-Oh! for a long time now and is still obsessed. We bought him a Yu-Gi-Oh! DS game and he tries to constantly play it. He's good too. He's still growing taller. He hasn't stopped. In fact, we just had to go through all of his clothes because his size 8 clothes were too small. Of course, the size 10 clothes don't quite fit right either, but that is the best we can do. I would never have imagined my six year old wearing size 10 clothes.
Zoya just got he first hair cut at a salon yesterday and loved it. She was stressed and worried the whole time before, but when we got there, she was very happy and pleased. She's almost four now and boy can we tell. She has been pushing boundaries more and more and sometimes, we don't know what we can do!! She loves to wear dresses and skirts and prefers to be the princess in any situation, either that or the "mean cat" for some reason. Zoya prefers to eat chocolate and sweet things for every meal and will starve herself is she feels she should be getting something better. Eventually she gives in, but she is stubborn.
Trisha just finished the season for the Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra. She played oboe but now they are currently practicing for the play South Pacific and do not need her right now. That is completely ok with her as being 25 almost 26 weeks pregnant is taking a toll on her oboe playing to say the least. Pregnancy has been difficult, but hopefully rewarding as we all found out that it is to be a girl. Jensie Mae Kuzmic is due June 8th. We are hoping she comes early as June 9th is the last day of school and we'd all like to avoid that time.
Our family life is crazy, but it all seems to go well. We are hoping that as we go, our Heavenly Father will bless us and we will be able to visit our family more often.
